my work life is getting too exciting for my liking...

I thought I'd spend the day working on my job packs, alas, it was not to be. What a vain ambition! I forgot that Murphy's a good "friend" who drops by unannounced whenever he detects some peace in my life...

The very first project that I was involved in (which I thought was closed, long-gone, dead and buried 60-ft under) has been brought back to life! Dang. This is gonna affect my preparation work for an upcoming business trip to Zurich :( Yes, I'm flying halfway around the world for a meeting and back again. Boss has specifically told me not to extend the business trip and go on a personal one. Oh well, as if I have the mood to travel. Besides, I'm not hard up for travels thanks to my baby;) Plus I'm saving my leave for the BIG DAY and other small impulse travels (to Greece again...perhaps)

So my work life is getting a little too exciting for my liking. It's all the little, itsy, bitsy work that's getting to me; helping an Indian colleague with his Swiss visa application, soliciting signatures for some review, etc. Gawd.

It's times like these that I feel 24 hours is not enough for me! That's why I'm a late sleeper. Sleeping to me is like a waste of time. Yea, I know our body needs the proper rest to heal itself, but...I can't help it :/ So much to do, so little time. Even when bb's around, it's always nice spending a few more waking moments together, no?

Oh lookie at the time...close to midnight and I'm still in my work clothes. Geez.
