alone in the dark

Night feeds for Evan are usually uneventful except when he wants to poop and feed at the same time (makes him frustrated, he chokes and comes off the breast crying) like last night. In order to calm him down, I carried him in an upright manner (that usually works 99% of the time). So there I was, sitting in the dark with his head resting snuggly in the crook of my neck...what a feeling of bliss! It's funny cuz I usually can't wait to get back to sleep...but this time around, I almost didn't want to lay him down in his crib. hehe
