Here are some of my more decent shots...the rest...can just burn in hell:
It's a fruit, not a flower!
Don't go chasing waterfalls...listen to the rivers and the lakes that you used to...
Check out my love bites from the mossies. I feel so loved and special.
Unfortunately, the slight drizzle turned into a torrential downpour. Maybe the weather gods mistook Mr Anal's weird jerky mannerisms as a rain dance :p That was how my maiden flora photoshoot ended. So we caught a cab to Lido and saw "Perth: The Geylang Massacre" - I fell asleep at some parts (-_-)zzZZ
Onwards to Ubin! It was drizzling slightly when we reached. Barely 20 mins into our Ubin Extreme Trekking Exploration Adventure Cycle (ok, I made that name up...) there were two casualties! Pictures tell all :)
13 went and 13 came back! :)
Lee-zard (Iguana actually)
The conversation pertaining to this photo went somewhat like this:
Pat: Wah! So big ah! Charlotte! Is it real or not?
Me: No la, it was put up by the Ubin Decorations Committee...
Opposite of an autobabe - the manualbabi. Doesn't it up the hip factor of the uber cool blue tricycle? :)
The series of photos below were taken using the "multiple shot" function of my big ass dgcam, the absolutely wonderous Canon S2 (die die must buy!)
The day ended in true blue Singaporean style - seafood dinner (reasonably priced, of course!), complete with lots of banter and chatter amongst the survivors of the Ubin Extreme Cycling Expedition :) Although half the time was spent searching for the anti-climatic zoo (everyone's response was "huh, like that only ah?", except Si Siong, who went "wah, this is so exciting!" haha), it was fun nonetheless. Working up the non-existent corporate ladder in my company which is situated in the urban jungle of the CBD for 5 days a week, made the work out in the real jungle a lot more enjoyable. The coolness of the air after a slight drizzle, the smell of rambutans (yea, I made it a point to ride over them on the road!), riding along the off-beaten track and bumping along like it was some Osim message chair...I'll remember it :)
A trip to Kukup might be in the pipeline...after all, someone kena-ed arrowed to organize it. Teehee.
