Aussies are famous around the world for their laid-back attitude. And it's not just the people who are laid back, check out their wildlife. Not so wild, huh? More like "mild".

A Kangaroo "taking it easy".
The wombat, which I've adored since I first saw its picture in my kiddy encyclopedia, lying happily on my lap. It stinks, by the way. If you noticed, I've taken off my beloved adidas sweater for fear that it would reek of wombat pee. It's got the easiest job in the world - just lying there, taking photos....AND FALLING ASLEEP on the job (- -)"

YAWN.

Doesn't he look like a proud parent? haha
There are lots of exotic birds in the park. Check this dinosaur-looking one. Pretty freaky, if you ask me.

And you think you've got bad skin...

The Laughing Kookuburra - remember how we used to sing about it during our music lessons in primary school? No? No? YES WE DID! >(

Dunno what la, but you gotta agree it's damn cute!
Going to an aussie mildlife park and not seeing/feeding/interacting with the kangaroos is a cardinal sin for all tourists. They're not exactly adorable or cute in all sense of the word, but are quite interesting...and to think a few days back, fatboy tried to coax me into eating kangaroo meat (at Voyager estate)...how can??? It's like eating your pet or something, not that I have any emotional attachment to them la...I dunno, "kangaroo burger" doesn't sit very well me with me gastoromically-speaking.
For guests who don't mind the kangaroo crap lying EVERYWHERE and want a little more interaction with the marsupials, there's a bin filled with kangaroo feed (in pellet form) at one end of the enclosure. I swear, the kangaroo's eyes lite up when I held one pellet in my hand. Okay, it didn't really "light up" since all kangaroos have sleepy eyes. Can you imagine? All that "no worries" and "take it easy" have rubbed off onto these animals.

Brother Theresa of kangaroos.

Sister Theresa and her kangaroos.

Not visiting the koala enclosure is another cardinal sin.

What applies in the animal kingdom, also applies at my work place :)

Lau Kantang is just "conserving energy" mate!
The Tasmanian Devil. Doesn't quite look like it's cartoon counterpart eh?
Me so cute.
Just passed by MY vinyard. Looks like a nice place to raise a family :) HINT HINT
