My weekend was spent battling one of my greatest fears (okay, so I'm exaggerating here...cannot issit?) - SEAWEED. As bb can testify, I HATE SEAWEED. It digusts me to the core. Everytime my legs (or any part of my body for that matter) brushes against it, a shrill cry excapes from within...
Anyways, I'm one-quarter away from "graduating" as a sailor! :) This is the boat or dinghy that I'm sailing in:

I've learnt how to "rig the boat up" (so damn cool to say it), tied knots like the reef knot, bowline and figure-of-eight, did some tacking and capsizing too. So far, the only kick I get out of this new experience is the balancing act that you do whilst sailing. Oh, and when your sail catches the wind....wheeeee! Off you go! :)
The people are nice, friendly and helpful in general. Seems like I'm the only one of marrigeable age :P The rest are either fathers/mothers or their kids. Hai...no eye candy. Although the caretaker/safety-officer/semi-instructor does remind me a bit of bb...nice brown tan, slightly slopey shoulders, same kinda build except bb's FATTER. hiak hiak.
Some stuff I saw:
1. A dead fish (another great fear of mine - dead animals) float by.
2. A lizard (YES!) on the back of my instructor's life jacket.
3. Blue dragonflies mating on a fellow coursemate's shoulder.
4. Two eagles circling waaaay above me. Interesting sight.
5. A RAINBOW! (On my way to church).
